Blue Comet Basketball traveled to Independence last night for their final league away game of the season.



CHS Girls Bowling won their regional yesterday in Seneca and qualified for state as a team! On the boys side, Jett Cosby was the lone qualifier, finishing as the individual Regional Bowling Champion. Congrats to everyone!

Chanute Public Schools will be closed again on Thursday, February 20 due to the forecast of extreme cold and dangerous temperatures. Everyone stay safe.


School is canceled in Chanute Public Schools on Wednesday, February 19th. All schools, services, and related activities, including athletics, are canceled for the day. Everyone stay safe.


First off, we had 32 NCCC Baseball Players and 20 NCCC Girls Soccer Players come help run the meet by judging and working tables. Thank you very much for your help.
