Chanute Girls Wrestling qualified 8 girls for the state wrestling tournament in Salina on Feb 27 and 28. Jarynn Hockett also picked up her 100th career win, making her the 4th girl in program history to reach 100 wins. Kiley Dillow was voted as Regional Wrestler of the Year for the 3rd year in a row. Kiley Dillow competed at the Wonder Women of Wrestling Championship in Columbia, Missouri on Dec 29th and 30th. There were 89 teams and 685 wrestlers from 11 states, making it one of the largest high school girls tournaments in the nation. Kiley extended her winning streak to 101 straight wins, bringing home the title belt at 170 lbs!

Lady Comet Wrestling competed at the 8th Annual Ladycat Classic on Saturday. The team finished 8th of 36 teams, beating the #1 and #2 ranked teams in 4a and finishing highest of all non 5A/6A teams. Kiley Dillow was voted as the Outstanding Wrestler of the tournament.
