Boys Wrestling hosted Columbus last night for a dual and senior night. Dual Results: Chanute 39 Columbus 41 Sam Hutchinson, Bo Small, Braddox Bancroft, Quinton Harding, Cade Small, Karter Naff, and Brady Alonzo all came up with wins for the Comets! Congrats to our seniors Andy Severt, Addie Finley, Quinton Harding, and Cade Small! Thanks for all of your contributions to CHS Wrestling! We will miss you next year!

Blue Comet Bowling traveled to Olathe yesterday to compete against Maranatha Academy and St. Thomas Aquinas. Chanute Boys and Girls both walked away with 1st place as a team! Basehor Powerlifting Results Jr. Men's 156 Lb Class Joshua Schoenhofer finished 8th in Bench, 5th in Squat, and 8th in Clean, finishing 6th overall. Men's 242 Lb Class Canton Fitzmaurice finished 2nd in Bench, 1st in Squat, and 1st in Clean. He finished 1st place overall. Women's 123 Lb Class Brooklyn Espe finished 1st in Bench, 5th in Squat, and 9th in Clean. Finishing 3rd overall. Mavery Herman finished 7th in Bench, 7th in Squat, and 10th in Clean. She finished 7th overall. Women's 140 Lb Class Avery Dean finished 7th in Bench, 4th in Squat, and 6th in Clean. She finished 4th overall. 23 schools with 733 lifters attended this meet.

There will be a parents meeting for students participating in Spring sports on March 13th at 6pm in the CHS Auditorium. We hope to see you there!

Bowling competed in Lawrence on Thursday against Washington High School, Basehor Linwood, Atchison, and Lawrence High. Boys finished 4th place. Drake Friederich finished 4th place individually. Girls finished in 2nd place. Lovie Cosby finished 2nd place individually. JV Boys finished in 4th place. Shane Shoenhofer finished 3rd individually. JV Girls finished in 4th place.
