
Boys Tennis also sent a team to a meet in Independence. Teams competing were Chanute, Parsons, Ft Scott, Labette County, and Independence.
Chanute finished 3rd as a team.
#1 Singles: Noah Vogel went 1-3 on the day.
#2 Singles: Jacob Pierce went 2-3 on the day.
#1 doubles: Ethan Burnett/Ayden Cummings went 3-1 for a 2nd place finish.
#2 doubles: Caleb Cope/Kemper Manly went 2-3 on the day.

CHS Boys Tennis played at Pittsburg yesterday. Teams competing were Chanute, Iola, and 2 Pittsburg teams.
Chanute finished 2nd place behind Pittsburg 1.
#1 Singles Blaine Smoot went 3-0 for 1st place.
#2 Singles Vann Trester went 2-1 for 2nd place
#1 doubles Luke Becknell/Anthony Wendt went 2-1 for 2nd place
#2 doubles Logan Bilby/Harrison Vaughan went 2-1 for 2nd place

Chanute Boys Basketball won tonight in the first round of Sub-State against Wamego. They will play in the Sub-State Championship game on Saturday at 5pm in Chanute!

Chanute Girls Basketball played Girard tonight for the Louisburg Tournament Championship since it was canceled in January due to weather. They finished as the tournament runner-up. Congratulations, Ladies!


Chanute Bowling competed in Lawrence yesterday.
The girls finished in 3rd place as a team and Zoey Turner was runner-up individually.
The boys also finished in 3rd with no individual placers.
Their next competition is Feb 16th in Kansas City!
