Food service availability plan and in-town pickup locations

Breakfasts and Lunches will be delivered to students between the ages of 1-18 through the district transportation system beginning Monday, March 23.

Parents or guardians of rural and special education students must sign up and declare their intent to use this service  by clicking on this link and completing the form found here.

In-town program eligibility, locations and details 

Who: All individuals, ages 1-18

 

What: Breakfast & Lunch (delivered together)

 

When: Monday-Friday;  Beginning Monday, March 23

Time: 11:00AM - 12:30PM

Delivery will continue indefinitely until K-12 school site restrictions are discontinued or until Friday, May 22.

Note: No meals will be served on Good Friday, April10, 2020

  2. 3rd Street 400 W. 3rd (South Side)

  3. Save-a-Lot 406 W. Main

  4. Chanute Recreation Department 400 S. Evergreen

  5. Tank Evergreen & Walnut

  6. North Forest 500 N. Forest  (West Side)

  7. Brighter Beginnings 1313 W. 14th

  8. 15th and Central Corner

  9. 10th Street Between Lafayette & Western

  10. Chanute Elementary School

  11. Royster Middle School, east side in the alley

 

Rural Routes

  1. South and West

  2. North and West

  3. South and East

  4. East and North

  5. East and South

Rural Areas & Special Education students will be served directly by bus drivers at their normal pick-up locations.  Special Education students are those who receive transportation from their home to school each day. Those deliveries will begin at 11:00AM daily. Someone MUST be home to accept the meals.
