Mrs. Babcock's Third Grade Class 'Our Class Really Shines!'

     Welcome to the third grade!  I'm very happy to have you with me this year.  My name is Jennifer Babcock and I am looking forward to working with you this year.  I know we are going to enjoy the year.  This year our theme is "Our Class Really Shines."  We will be using this theme to realize the success that all of us can reach in third grade and the character traits it takes to be successful in life.

     Here are some things that you need to know to make our year successful.

• Parents and students need to read together the classroom rules that will be sent home. This is a list of rules, rewards and consequences that will apply to the students.  This needs to be signed at the bottom of the paper and sent back to school.
• Check the Homework Folder every night.  Check both the "Keep at Home" side and the "Return to School " side for information and homework.
• Read with your child 20 minutes each night.
• Study Spelling Words each night.  Spelling Tests will be given on Friday.
