Royster offers physical choices after school

Bocce ball to scooter baseball and line dancing are among the activities students can participate in afterschool during January and February at Royster Middle School.

The Physical Education (PEP) Program runs from 3-5pm Monday through Thursday, until Feb. 27.

Students receive an afterschool snack and can choose to participate in intramurals or study maniacs between 3-4 pm. At 4, the physical activities vary from day to day. On Mondays there is scooter dump ‘em, scooter basketball, Geo Fit and bocce ball. On Tuesdays, scooter baseball, scooter dodgeball, DDR and Wii is offered. Wednesday features scooter dump ‘em, scooter basketball, Wii or line dancing and Thursdays offer lifetime fitness, relays, Geo Fit and bocce ball.

The school’s fitness center is open to all students from 3-4 pm and to the afterschool students from 4-5 pm.

Registration forms can be found on the wall outside the nurse’s office. Forms must have a parent signature and can be turned in to Ms. Busenbarrick or Ms. Wawrzewski.

Students should be picked up at Royster at 5 p.m.
