What
about next year?
The
new high school was designed with safety in mind. There will
be increased video surveillance as well as only one entrance in
to the school. Students, parents and patrons will be able to enter
the school through any entrance but after 8:15 am, the only door
that will be open is the main entrance. This will force traffic
through the office.
Students who drive to school will park in the west
parking and enter through the west doors. Students who ride the
bus to school will enter school on the south side at the "Bus Drop
Off/Pick Up" location. Students being dropped of will use the "Drop
Off Lane" located on the north east corner of the school.
Start and end times at the new building will change
very little. Because of a shortened lunch period school will run
8:00 am - 3:00 pm. All students will have a 30-minute lunch period.
Lunch will be closed to all students except second-semester juniors
and seniors who are in good standing.
Phone numbers for the new building will remain the
same. The only difference, teachers will have a phone in their
room. Parents will be able to reach teachers directly or via voice
mail by dialing their extension number.
