New afterschool classes begin soon

Walk with your family

A second annual 5K run/walk has been scheduled for Wednesday, May 7. Students and all their family members can particpate together in this physical and fun activity.

Watch for the registration form coming out soon!

Royster-CCLC Afterschool is a great time to:

• get caught up on your homework
• burn off some energy after sitting in school all day
• burn off some calories in the Fitness Center
• challenge yourself playing an interactive video game

You can do all this and more at the Chanute Community Learning Centers afterschool program at Royster Middle School!

There is study maniacs for those who want to finish homework, soccer for those wanting to run around, the NEW trikes for those brave enough to try exercising on an oversized three-wheeler and the fitness center for those interested in getting in shape for the summer.

Regular classes include the interactive video games Wii, Dance Dance Revolution and Guitar Hero, as well as a fishing class and competitive jump rope. Come check it out. It's fun!

Register for these programs with Mrs. Aikins or Mrs. Bolt as soon as possible. Class sizes are limited and will fill!
