Ellis Foundation Scholarship

Amount:  $8,000 ($1,000 a semester for 8 semester)

Coffeyville Community College

         

Athletic Training Scholarship

This is for seniors who have an interest in sports medicine, nursing, pre-medicine, EMT, physical therapy, etc.  Students do not need to have prior experience to be considered for this scholarship.

Amount:  $1,500

Native American Leadership Scholarship

            This scholarship is for official members of federally recognized tribes. 

            Amount:  $500

            Kansas Enhancement Scholarship

Students applying for this scholarship must participate in the following activities ac CCC:  Agriculture, athletic training, art, broadcasting, cheer, choral music, dance, horticulture, instrumental music, livestock judging, meats judging, Native American Leadership, rodeo, student government, and theatre.

Amount:  $1,500 per semester

Presidential Honor Scholarship

Students must have a 28+ ACT to apply for this scholarship.

Hickson Opportunity Award

            Civic Leadership Scholarship

Kansas State Chapter of Acacia Fraternity

This scholarship is for young men who display motivation for personal success, an interest in studying the principles of leadership, and who plan to attend KSU.  Acacia encourages and assists young men in developing themselves as leaders and balanced young men during their college career.  See Mr. Feeback in the counseling office for an application.

Phi Kappa Theta Man of Faith Scholarship

This scholarship recognizes two incoming male freshmen as being men that place their faith and academics in the forefront of their everyday lives.  See Mr. Feeback in the counseling office for an application.

Dr. David Whitney Agronomy Scholarship

Any undergraduate student majoring in agronomy at Kansas State University who will be enrolled as a junior or senior in the 2010-2011 school year.  Applications can be found online at www.KansasAg.org/KARA.

Loren Mall Leadership Scholarships Presented by Delta Sigma Phi

This scholarship will be awarded to two incoming freshman males at Kansas State Univeristy.  Consideration is based on leadership, academic excellence, grades, ACT scores, school and community activities, and leadership roles.  Applications are available online at www.deltasigonline.com.

The Geisinger Scholarship Program

This scholarship is awarded to first-year students admitted to the College of Engineering at the University of Michigan for the 2010-2011 school year.  Students must maintain a 3.0+ GPA.  For scholarship applications or additional information, please visit the ESO web site at:  www.engin.umich.edu/students/scholarships/New_Students.html.

University of Missouri- Columbia

 

Trulaske College of Business

Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. Scholarship in Business

First preference is given to children of full-time active employees of True Manufacturing and other directly related companies, students demonstrating financial need (you must fill out the FAFSA), and students graduating in the upper two-thirds but outside the 10% of their high school class.  Special emphasis is placed on students that have exhibited business interest through their own work experiences.  Leadership abilities and other activities are also taken into account.

Amount:  $7,175 per year for four years

            Deadline:  February 1, 2010

 

Sam W. Walton Scholarship

This scholarship is for students majoring in economics, finance, international business, management, or marketing at the MU college of business.  Students must progress towards a business degree, work part-time in retailing, and participate in Walton Scholar activities while attending MU. 

            Amount:  $7,175 per year for four years

            Deadline:  February 1, 2010

Joe Bogle Scholarship

Students must complete an admission form to Neosho County Community College (NCCC) and be degree-seeking.  Applicants must enroll and maintain a 3.0+ GPA in 12 hours at NCCC.  Applications are available in the Counseling Office.

            Cardinal Newman Scholarship

            Students must have a 4.0 GPA and 30+ ACT.

            Presidential Scholarship

            Board of Trustees Scholarship

            Students must have a 3.3+ GPA and 23+ ACT.

            Amount:  $8,000 annually for four years

 

            Newman Grant

            Students must have a 2.0+ GPA and 18+ ACT.
