Philosophy of Education

We believe the education of our children and youth is a cooperative venture with active responsibility shared by the partners in education: home, community and school.

The following values or beliefs further explain the principles that guide us.

1. Quality of education affects quality of life.
2. Everyone is accountable for his/her own actions.
3. High expectations yield high results.
4. All people can learn (given time and opportunity).
5. Self-esteem (self-worth) is essential to one’s personal development.
6. Family is the primary influence in the development of the individual.
7. Learning is a life long process.
8. We learn best when helping someone else learn.
