Offer-Vs.-Serve Meals:

All students in Chanute Public Schools, with the exception of Lincoln Kindergarten Center, have the opportunity to choose only those foods which they intend to eat. Breakfast provides one-fourth of the daily calories while lunch provides one-third of your daily nutritional needs. You may select the full meal or decline certain menu items. However, the fewer menu items you take and eat, the less nutritional benefit you receive. The price per meal remains the same whether you select the minimum number or all items offered.
