Meal Accounts:

Meals may be purchased each morning before school begins from the Child/Nutrition Services building cashier. Students may put any amount in their accounts. Chanute High School students are responsible for carrying their own ID badges.

A reminder slip will be sent home when three (3) meals are left on a students account. Parents will be able to insure that your student receives a meal each day by closely monitoring the dates you purchase his/her meals and responding to the reminders immediately. You may also elect to go online and automatically receive a notice when your student account falls below a designated amount by contacting the school office for password information. Copies of the monthly breakfast and lunch menus are available online, school newspaper, or at your school. Account purchase dates and amounts could be recorded on the menu page as your reminder.
