Food Intolerances, Allergies or Disabilites

Food intolerances or allergies can be life threatening and the risk of accidental exposure can b e reduced in the school setting by working with students, parents and the physician to minimize the risk. Parents must provide the school each year an updated doctor’s statement before appropriate alternations can be made. The forms are available thru the school cashier or by calling the Child Nutrition Program office (620-432-2506). The school district is not required to provide special meals other than specified as a disability by the physician.
